Chest congestion

I am a 72 year old male and my issue is chest congestion due to allergies. I have had chest congestion for the last month.i take palmacourt and a puffer but is not clearing it up as it usually does just wondering if other people have this issue and thinking of changing to advair hopefully this will help any advice out there thank you

You haven't said whether they are seasonal allergies such as hayfever/dust mites or ongoing allergies from other irritants. It is generally joined by a wet, useful hack that raises thick bodily fluid. Chest blockage might make you hear or feel wheezing or popping sounds when you take in and out.
