I am 27 and I am having bowel problems, since this has happened I am having leakage issues, is this connected in any way?

It depends on what bowel problems you've got but the short answer is yes they may well be related as bladder and bowel problems often are. In particular, problems with the pelvic floor or with the nervous system can affect both. They are also anatomically close to each other so often symptoms from one can seem to come from the other.
