Bladder emptying/leaking

Bladder emptying/leaking
I always go to the loo before bed and find I can sit for ages just making sure I’ve completely finished. Sometimes I feel all’s well only to find I’m back on the loo to pee a little more and have wet patches in underwear. I also lose control if I cough hard, sneeze or grab my grandchildren. Can you suggest anything please.

Have you seen a urologist - I would recommend you do. Sounds like you require some assessment of bladder function for these troublesome symptoms. The bladder can leak for many reasons and I would recommend further investigation to try and elucidate this in your case.

I agree with Chris - there a number of potential reasons why you may be having these symptoms so an assessment with a urologist would be useful.

I would suggest that this is assessed at community level by a specialist nurse practitioner with appropriate referral to a consultant as necessary.
