Incontinence and hormones
I find that my incontinence is worse at certain times of the month, for example the week before my period is particularly bad. What effect is the menopause likely to have on my bladder control as it would appear to be influenced by hormones? Thank you.

Unfortunately the menopause sometimes make things worse. Have you tried vaginal oestrogen cream - this can be beneficial in such cases.

Certainly, this is well recognised. If it is proving to be very troublesome then appropriate specialist assessment via the continence advisory service at community level or upward referral to a specialist hospital would be appropriate.
