I have had what I thought was vitiligo on my arm for a long time. The doctor told me it was vitiligo however it is actually patches of darker skin, rather than patches of lighter skin. However, when I questioned the doctor over this, he just said it was vitiligo. Any idea?

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give accurate advice without examining your skin. I would therefore recommend that you see either a GP with a special interest in dermatology or a Dermatologist.
