How often should I have a smear test done? And from what age? My daughters are 16 and 21 and have never been invited. I myself had a tumour removed from my womb a few years ago thanks to a smear test

It depends on the age. Smear test is offered to all women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 years. For women aged 25 to 49, it's every three years and for women aged 50 to 64, it's every 5 years provided they don't have any abnormal results. If someone has abnormal results then more regular smear tests may be required or prolonged duration (over the age of 65 y if recent abnormal results) but it depends on an individual basis.
