Rosacea acne
I have suffered from rosacea for a long time and now the spots are getting worse. I am 66 years old and wonder if the condition worsens with age. What is the best treatment for this condition

I am so sorry to hear about your Rosacea. The best treatment is soolantra cream in a combination with an antibiotic. It may take 3 -4 months to improve. It may come back when you stop treatment. Sun protection is very important. There is more information on my website if it is of interest.
I hope this is helpful.

Re: Rosacea acne
If the Soolantra cream does not work, then find a clinic with a pulsed dye laser and an experienced operator. Sometimes we find excellent results for acne rosacea using this laser.

Re: Rosacea acne
Following on from the other experts advice, i would like to add that you may find a skin camouflage assessment very helpful. You'll need to wait until the Rosacea has responded to the recommend treatment and has settled.
I agree a SPF is important - this can be incorporated in to your skin camouflage routine if you decide to give it a try.
I would also recommend you discuss with the skin camouflage practitioner the range of brands that are available because you may prefer one formulation over another particularly when managing flushing and blushing.
Please let me know if you would like me to run through where and how to arrange an appointment.
