Lichen sclerosus
Been plagued with this wretched condition for 20 yrs. Dermovate /Betnovate ointment along with moisturiser is all I have ever been offered, with no good results at all. Not had smear tests due to virtual closure of genital area. Regular unbearable ‘itching’ and feeling unclean has driven me into awful depression and even my rectal area now seems affected. Any advice, help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lichen sclerosus
I am so sorry to hear about your skin condition!
Ask your dermatologist if she/he can offer you roacutane or acitretin treatment.
I hope this is helpful.
