Red marks

I have a Red mark on my cheek. I went to my Dr and was referred to a skin specialist. He said it was nothing to worry about, but I can't remember what he said was.
It changes a lot, and sometimes it's worse than at other times, and sometimes it spreads a bit, and seems to change.
It is flat, not raised, but sometimes it has had a rough surface, but not at the moment. The skin is delicate and I have to be careful not to scratch it especially when washing my hair, and in the shower, because it the skin breaks very easily and bleeds. After that happens, that's when it seems to change a bit.
It looks worse because right next to it I have also developed a flat Brown mark which the skin doctor said was a mole, and nothing to worry about. I have not always had that mole. I think it developed about the same time as the Red mark. Together they look like one big horrid blob, and I am conscious of these marks on my face.
I'm very careful in the sun, and use lots of good sunscreen, covered also by make up, and wear a hat at all times.
I went to see about getting it lasered, but didn't have a lot if confidence in the clinic, so didn't go ahead.
I am currently using a cream for dark spots, I'm not sure if its doing any good, sometimes I think it might be, but at other times not so.
I'm 63, and have has it for about 6 years.

Re: Red marks

Thank you very much for your question. It sound like a haemangioma vascular leasion. Because it bleeds you should be able to have it done on NHS. Perhaps you could ask to get referred back to your dermatologist for this?

I hope this is helpful.
