I have lived with this for a number of years. (I am 50) The only treatment I have read about that works is laser treatment, but this can leave scars. Can anyone tell me if there are alternative treatments, and also how to avoid more developing?
Thank you

Unfortunately the only way to remove these definitively is either by laser or to surgically remove the larger/more troublesome ones but both techniques can leave scarring. Retinoid based products (creams and in more severe cases oral) can sometimes be used to reduce the risk of further lesions
