Help: My nails are folding/rippling

I am quite worried about my nails, some of my nails (hands and feet) are folding inwards near the sides and they all have a rippling pattern on them similar to water. I have had alopecia areata for around a year now (it's recovering and occurring intermittently). The fact that my nails are "rippling" makes sense according to other people who suffer the symptoms of alopecia. However, I'm very concerned that some of my nails are beginning to fold and the ones that already have folded have gotten worse.
Apologies if I couldn't explain it properly but I've added images so it's easier to understand.

Please assist me if possible.

Re: Help: My nails are folding/rippling

I am so sorry to hear about your nails changes. I am afraid nail changes are very
common in alopecia areata. However a new drug Tofacitinibe has just become available off licence which looks very promising. Hopefully soon it will also become available on NHS.

I hope this is helpful.
