Pyelonephritis

Hi I’ve had pyelonephritis three times in six years. Couple of times I’ve been admitted to hospital. I don’t get cystitis symptoms. How is this possible? Thanks

Re: Pyelonephritis

There may be something specifically affecting the kidney causing the pyelonephritis
worth having a renal tract ultrasound or maybe CT/MRI- could be a kidney stone or poorly functioning kidney.
A urine culture to check the exact infection would be useful.
Worth a urology referral i would think
