What are the symptoms of kidney stones ?

Kidney stones can be -
1. Completely incidental in some cases and diagnosed on imaging (ultrasound or CT scan) done for other causes
2. Present with acute pain and colic
3. Present with recurrent urinary infections
4. Present with blood in the urine (which may or may not be visible and only seen on routine testing of urine)
5. present with loin pain or back pain (which might be acute or chronic)
6. Rarely with acute or chronic renal failure
