Trouble pulling foreskin back
I am 70 and over the past year I have been having trouble pulling my foreskin back for hygiene reasons. There is a large vien that runs alongside my penis that if I try to force my skin back it tears the skin and starts to bleed. Is there an operation that at my age will be safe. It does give me some pain but not all the time. My doctor gave me Betnovate cream but that has done nothing. Needless to say this has affected my sex life.
Could this condition be the reason for leaking during my sleep?
Thank you, Anon

Re: Trouble pulling foreskin back
It sounds like you have developed a tight foreskin or phimosis
and if bleeding and affecting your sex life then a circumcision will sort things out
this can be done under a local but usually is a quick general anaesthetic operation
Creams sound unlikely to turn things around at this stage
You will need a GP referral to a local urology team
