Sleep and pain control

I suffer from digestive enzyme disorder, and as a result have most nights broken up with pain.

Do you have any suggestions for improving the quality of my sleep. I'm on pain meds but this only last about 4 hr.

Many thanks, Karl

Re: Sleep and pain control

Hi Have you had your gallbladder out?
I have in 2017 and although I sometimes get pain where it was, I find rubbing on organic castor oil is good for pain and inflammation. I apply it neat, but you can put it on a cotton cloth and apply a heat pack over it .
I also take a bile salt after fatty foods to help the bile flow and it gets breaks down the fat quicker.

Re: Sleep and pain control

you need to discuss your pain in the context of your sleep with your GP, there may be drugs that can deal with your pain as well as help you sleep
