Night sweats

Whenever I read about solutions to poor sleep no one event seems to cover the topic of having night sweats and trying to sleep. I can be very deeply asleep and I am dragged out of this by a night sweat. It’s then difficult to get back off to sleep.

Re: Night sweats

Night sweats are certainly a problem for good sleep. Essentially in order to get good sleep, your body temperature has to drop so if for whatever reason your body temperature does not drop or increases this can cause you to wake. The only advice, other than dealing with the cause of the night sweats is to do nothing that additional rises your temperature before bed, have the bedroom cool and wear natural fibres to help control your temperature and wick away any moisture from the skin.
