Sensitive Skin
I have a patch of eczema on my leg which never clears up no matter how much moisturiser I use. I don't want to keep using Betnovate is there anything else I can use.

Re: Sensitive Skin
Hi there,
It's worth checking that it is eczema. Occasionally, sun damage can look a bit like eczema and if it never shifts, it may not be eczema.
Do you scratch it a lot? Sometimes people get into the habit of scratching a lot, in which case, it never gets a chance to heal. Covering it with a plaster can sometimes help in this situation.
Otherwise, if steroids help, but it keeps coming back, we sometimes use them to settle it and then use them twice a week to keep the skin at bay. Alternatively, you could talk to your doctor about trying a non-steroid anti-inflammatory cream like Protopic.
It sounds like you need to go back to your Doctor and discuss possibly seeing a dermatologist.
Hope that helps,
BW
