Rash all over body

I have a 21 year old son, who has been having an allergy which is like a heat bump rash all over his body - it comes up anytime he is stressed, or hot or at random times! It stings like (stinging nettles he says) and then after a few moments goes down. It is very annoying to him and happened so much recently, that he would like to know what to do.

Dear Joan, thanks for your message and sorry to hear about your son. What you describe sounds very much like a physical urticaria - either exercise or heat induced urticaria or something called cholinergic urticaria. These would generally respond very well to high dose anti-histamine but I would suggest getting him seen by a Dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis and it’s worth taking some pictures of the outbreak along with you. Hope that helps.
