Peyronies disease

I have a incomplete spinal cord injury and have been diagnosed with peyronies disease. Sometimes having intercourse with my partner I seem to ejaculate into my bladder which I pass when I next urinate. I have had recurrent bladder infections after this happens. I have seen my gp regarding this problem and he doesn't think there is a connection. I am not so sure.
I would much appreciate your opinion.

Re: Peyronies disease

When your ejaculate goes into your bladder it is called 'retrograde ejaculation.' The sphincter/muscle that normally closes at your bladder neck to allow your ejaculation out through your penis stops working. It happens when there are problems with the nerves of the bladder or at the bladder neck. It can be an issue for fertility and common when there is a neurological injury. You may require urological assessment due to your repeated urinary tract infections.
Peyronie's disease is a separate condition where connective tissue within the penis thickens either gradually or suddenly. You can sometimes feel a hardened area in the shaft of the penis known as a plaque. The plaque may cause pain or a bend within the penis altering the shape of it. It is not associated with retrograde ejaculation.
Both of these conditions can have a psychological effect with any man and it may be helpful to discuss any associated sexual difficulties if they occur. I hope this is of help.
