Sore wrists, elbows and ankles

I have recently suffered from anxiety and have found that in the daytime, especially when stressed I experience sore wrists, elbows and ankles that smart. Also, my buttocks often smart as well when stressed. In the night I wake up with hot arms and legs and throw the covers off of the bed until I cool down. I have found that fluoxetine makes my skin even hotter at night and I struggle to get a complete nights sleep with it. In your opinion are these skin problems from the anxiety or something else like nerve damage that I should get looked into further? My skin doesn’t seem to like the sun on it any more since my anxiety problem.
I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Re: Sore wrists, elbows and ankles

I am so sorry to hear how you suffer. You need to see your GP or neurologist to check if your nerves might be involved and you might be suffering from neuropathy.

I hope this is helpful.
