Mild stress incontinence getting a little worse
I am 64 years old and have been suffering from mild stress incontinence for a couple of years only really needing pads if going for a hill walk or a run or if I go out for a drink.
As probably expected, this is getting a little worse now. I have in the past been for specialist physiotherapy which didn’t really work, tried kegel exercises and been given Contiform which I couldn’t take to.
Are there any new alternatives that could be useful? I must add that I am rather worried about the side-effects of the medication mentioned on the NHS website and that I have some real concerns after reading some horror stories In the press about bladder surgery for incontinence gone wrong!
Appreciate your input – thank you.

I would advise seeking an appointment with a urologist or urogynaecologist for a full discussion of second-line treatments for stress incontinence. There are many options available so I'm sure there will be something to suit you.
