Are there any natural health products that help to quieten down an overactive bladder. Medication has not worked. How can I distinguish the symptoms from enlarged prostate. Should I continue with Tamulosin. Will it make any difference to frequency long term

If you have had bladder outlet obstruction diagnosed (presuming this because you are on Tamsulosin) then this can be a cause of the symptoms you describe. Saw palmetto is a natural product that may shrink the prostate and reduce your symptoms but the evidence to support its use is patchy. In about 2/3 of cases, adequate treatment of bladder outlet obstruction due to prostatic enlargement will reduce the kind of symptoms you describe.
