Issue with catheter use
I am having to use catheters up to 7 times a day following Botox injections for urge incontinence. I cannot go without them (unless my bladder is full to capacity) and have no sensation in my bladder at all. The functional problem I am having with the catheter is that instead of the urine coming out of the catheter as a clean flow it is nearly always spraying out in multiple directions. Is this something that is normal or is the catheter (CH10) the wrong size?

Re: Issue with catheter use
I would try a softer catheter as it sounds as if the process of catheterisation is causing a bladder spasm and resulting in the expulsion of urine you describe. The botox effect should wear off after 6-9 months.
