telemedicine?
Just curious if anyone has tried telemedicine to treat acne? Would you recommend it?

Re: telemedicine?
So fwiw - I would say that telemedicine for acne is quite reasonable, as long as you're connecting with a dermatologist and not just a doctor. Just to read the websites, it's not always obvious. Dermatology is a visual so I think with good enough photos and as long as the doctor is available for questions it could be good. I'm in Canada and had a good experience.
It seems pretty new to Canada. Anyone else?

Hi all,
I'm glad I've happened on this! I'm a consultant dermatologist in London and our wait times for an adult appointment are near enough 5 months! We do video consultations for acne (including isotretinoin) and it's been pretty straightforward. The only issue is to do with pregnancy monitoring on Roaccutane but we've managed!
We're starting an app to enable patients to access a consultant and have a prescription delivered with minimal fuss!
BW,
Sree
