Re: acne teen

One of the most common contributing factors is hormonal changes and imbalances that occur at the time of adolescence. Some other causing factors that send invitation to acne are emotional stress and sex hormones. When active during puberty, androgens (sex hormones), stimulate the oil glands typically on the face, chest, back and shoulders. Many girls are prone to acne usually in the week before menstruation.
Acne involves the over-production of sebum from the sebaceous glands which results in the blockage of the pores with a sticky mass of the dead cells and oil. This creates a breeding ground for the opportunistic overgrowth of bacteria normally present in the skin. These convert the mass into compounds that cause inflammation and unattractive raised surfaces.

I strictly agree with you in this opinion that there is the interrelationship between acne and hormones. When the hormonal changes in teens are occurred, acnes are found on their faces .

Re: acne teen

If your acne is very bad, and is damaging your skin, I would suggest you go to a dermatologist. They should be able to prevent a lot of damage to your skin, and probably heal what damage you have already. Please go, it will be well worth it
or you can try an Apricot Scrub.

Re: acne teen

Acne is not a serious problem but it needs proper care. If you just have a few blackheads and spots, you should be able to treat them easily.

Re: acne teen

Everybody has a different type of skin, so I recommend you to see a dermatologist to help you to find the best cream/ products that will be efficient on you.
In my case, I went to see a dermatologist who looked at my skin and told me what was wrong with it.
You can find lots of choice of doctors on Findoc. But I recommend you Didier Vochelle :)
You will see that he has very good reviews.
