blackhead extractor

There are some steps for how to remove blackheads safely with a Blackhead extractor. You certainly don't want to risk the possibility of infection and aggravate your acne.

Not to mention acne scars!

A dermatologist certainly knows how to remove blackheads safely but he's going to charge you dearly. You can eliminate his cost by following this procedure and doing it yourself with a blackhead extractor.

What Is A Blackhead Extractor?

A blackhead extractor is exactly what its name implies. A device used to extract blackheads.

There are several types on the market but the one I recommend for home use is the double loop type. This device is made of stainless steel and has a loop on each end.

One of the loops is small and the other is large so you can fit the loop size to the size of the blackhead.

Extractors are inexpensive and widely available.

How to Remove Blackheads Safely

The very first step for safely removing blackheads is to sterilize the blackhead extractor. Sterilize your extractor by placing it in a clean bowl and covering it with isopropyl alcohol and let it sit for 30 minutes.

While your extractor is soaking you can prepare your face for removing blackheads. This is best done with warm moist heat.

The easiest method for doing this is to heat up a washcloth with hot tap water and place it on your face. Don't let it cool down however. You might have to reheat it a couple of times.

This will open up your pores and prepare your face for blackhead removal.

Remove the blackhead extractor from the alcohol and wipe it dry with sterile cotton balls.

Gently place the appropriate sized loop of the extractor around the blackhead. Apply a small and even amount of pressure pulling downward towards your chin until the blackhead releases.

Immediately apply alcohol to the area with a sterile cotton ball.

Continue with this process until you have removed all the blackheads you can see.

Once you've completed the procedure cleanse your face with a mild cleanser. Rinse with cold water to close up your pores and pat dry.

Apply a light moisturizer containing alpha hydroxy acids. The acid is a natural antibacterial and exfoliant and will help prevent the pores from clogging up again.

How To Remove Blackheads Forever

Now that's how to remove blackheads safely with a blackhead extractor but it's not going to get rid of blackheads forever.

Be prepared to use your blackhead extractor every few weeks because they will come back until you rid yourself of acne.

Re: blackhead extractor

This is a great post. Thanks for sharing. In my case, to maintain a good and glowing skin, I only use organic and natural products. Although this is a common problem but if we are concerned about our environment and the foods we eat, we can prevent skin problems.

Re: blackhead extractor

I'm the same as you. I used the blackhead removal tool to remove them, finally I love this blackhead removal tool so so much! The blackhead removal is a beauty apparatus which cleans the pores, sucks the acne and oil and other functions. The most powerful thing is that it has 4 probes and 4 power levels that are designed to cope with your different skin situation.

All in all, this is a very worthwhile product to buy and use, the effect is remarkable!

I'll show you a few steps here:
STEP 1:First you need to know how to operate the blackhead remover, try the suction on your hands and then operate on the face.
STEP 2:Apply to face with a hot towel, this will open the skin pores and soften the blackhead.
STEP 3:Move up the remover up and down when you are removing blackheads, do not stay in any one place for more than 2 seconds, the whole process is not recommended for more than 2 minutes.

Re: blackhead extractor

1: steam your face first

2: Hold your skin taunt
If you don't hold the skin taunt and just pull it off of your skin, you will almost always get a bruise. Holding your skin tight when using any kind of vacuum, waxing, plucking, cupping etc. is crucial to not having the procedure hurt, leave a bruise or just plain hurt when you are doing it. Always hold your skin tight and don't pull downward on it either.

3: don't keep the blackhead remover on one spot for more than 3 seconds

Blackheads can be removed by natural process. Try these remedies
1. Steaming can be done as often as twice a week but for no longer than 10 minutes at a time. This is a great way to clean out pores and loosen blackheads.
2. Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to remove blackheads.
