13 year old Son with acne

My Son is 13 and due to lockdown his hair had gone wild. He has recently just had it cut and has been hiding terrible acne on his forehead. Can anyone give me some advise please. He is hesitant to leave the house and he is now paranoid about his skin

Hello,
I am so sorry to hear about your son terrible acne!
I would suggset that your GP or dermatologist would consider prescribing antibiotic (e.g. Lymecycline) and a retinoid gel Epiduo. Other treatments are also available e.g. Roacutane.
