Do I need to worry?

I have seen the gp and was referred to gynae for having spotting in between periods (a new thing for me) I received an ultrasound was blood tested for cervical cancer and had another smear done and thankfully all results were normal. I still have this problem in addition to some bloating and weight gain. What has me concerned is my last two periods lasted two days only. No chance of being pregnant and my periods have always lasted 5/6 days. My question is should I go back to the Gp with this new symptom or is it nothing to worry about?
Many thanks

Re: Do I need to worry?

I am assuming that you had a blood test for ovarian cancer and not "cervical cancer". The test is called CA125. The fact that your tests have been normal is reassuring. However, since you have developed new symptoms, I would advise you to go back to your GP for further evaluation.
