What next?

I have what is described on the ultrasound report as a vascular structure 3cm on my right ovary. CA125 is at 92. Urgent referral put through...what is likely to happen next? I want to mentally prepare myself. Thank you. Sarah

This will very much depend on the characteristics of the structure that was found and any other findings, your symptoms and clinical examination. The advice could range from simply repeating the ultrasound and CA125 again if the structure was a simple ovarian cyst to recommending surgery. I am sorry that I can't be more specific but it is somewhat reassuring that the structure is not very large.
