Lichen sclerosis

Due to lichen sclerosis more than a third of my labia minora is fused down the midline. This has resulted in some difficulty peeing. Are there any non-surgical approaches to reverse this fusing?

Re: Lichen sclerosis

Have you been referred to a specialist dermatology vulval clinic for your lichen sclerosis? If your labia is fused, gynaecological surgical is likely to be the only option. I suggest you discuss with your GP and ask for a referral to a specialist. Please do visit The Vulval Health and LS support group at http://lichensclerosus.org where you will find more information on your condition and treatments. All the best.
