Eczema for 37 years
My son has had severe eczema most of his 37 years.
Are there any chemicals you know of that can clean yet not affect eczematose people?
I do not mean they are in direct contact with the skin merely in the immediate air.
He is now in UK but generally lives in USA.
Thank you.

Re: Eczema for 37 years
Hi
I am sorry to hear your son’s eczema is troublesome. Some patients can become sensitised to chemicals in skin care and household products which can flare up their eczema when they come into contact with them. The best way of diagnosing this is through formal patch testing. You can also do open patch test on the inner aspect of your arm by applying the same product daily for 2 weeks and if a red rash appears then you may be allergic to a component in that product.
I hope you find this helpful.
Best wishes
