LS and urinary problems
What is your opinion on LS causing urinary problems?
I've spoken to a lot of women lately, via a Facebook self help/support group, who all have urinary problems.

Re: LS and urinary problems
Urinary problems are themselves very common especially in post-menopausal women. LS is also more common in post-menopausal women but varies hugely in it's severity and accompanying architectural changes. There is no doubt that urinary incontinence and excessive wearing of pads can aggravate LS and compromise getting patients into remission. Checking for diabetes, ensuring weight-loss if necessary can help improve incontinence, however if it is persistent then it would be appropriate to be referred to a uro-gynaecologist for further investigation.
