urination

Does the more acidic urine of night time and early morning urination cause repeated damage to sensitive skin, so that healing potential is compromised?

If so, what are the solutions please?

Re: urination

If you have otherwise normal skin then acidic urine will not cause damage. If you have LS which is not fully treated then yes, the more acidic urine over night may cause some irritation. This can be helped by ensuring you use a good barrier type emollient ointment at night time. Remember to re-apply it if you get up to pass during in the night time. Avoid using irritant 'wet wipes' fragranced products and pads too.
