Recently diagnosed

I recently was diagnosed with LS at a routine well-woman exam based on some white patches of skin. I don't otherwise have any symptoms of pruritus or pain. Is it possible to have LS without itching, or could it be something else?

Re: Recently diagnosed

Although itching is the main symptom for most people with lichen sclerosus, it is not always a problem. Lichen sclerosus can quieten down and need little in the way of long-term treatment, but it would be good to be medically examined to be certain that all is quiet.
