Re: Removing mobile devices from bedroom

This is super tricky I agree.

Teenagers are desperate to be on their mobile phones and can become really difficult for parents.

I'm guessing that she is still using the phone at bedtime?

So have you tried asking rather to turn the mobile phone off at a certain time rather than removing all together?

You could also agree to a place downstairs that the phone can be kept?

If for example she is listening to music et to fall to sleep could you use ad alternative such as a speaker?

I think definitely negotiating some kind of reward system for turning phone off or handing the phone in is a good place to start.

Also removing the hour before she goes to sleep but talk about other things that she could do such as reading, jigsaws, colouring or drawing.

It might be that she uses the phone to 'unwind' so maybe some alternative idea's could help?
