My question is about vitiligo.

My doctors surgery never seems to know if there are any new treatments etc available.

I know there was a recent clinical trial where people were using lamps at home for instance.

I am very eager to know if there are any new and improved treatments and if a cure is ever at all likely as the condition really effects my confidence and mental health.

Thank you

Hello

In terms of skin camouflage there is a new durable, ‘second skin’ technology now in the UK which stays on the skin for several days while allowing your skin to breath and move as normal. It can be applied using a sponge or air brush technique which is particularly good where a larger area needs to be camouflaged. It does not rub off and is waterproof.

Its certainly worth a try while you look into the medical options for Vitiligo.

If you need any further information please let me know.
