3 year old - spotty skin

My 3 year old grand-daughter gets very spotty skin that lasts for days – mainly on her face and back. What can we use to help prevent the spots? Thank you (Jonquil)

Re: 3 year old - spotty skin

Thank you for your question. Recurrent spots on a 3year old could be a number of things. It would be impossible to recommend management without knowing the diagnosis. I would recommend taking photos of the spots when they arrive and what they look like as they fade. Keep a note on whether the spots are itchy. With this information, your GP should be able to give you an indication of what it could be and how best to manage it. If your GP is unable to help, they should refer you on to a Paediatric Dermatologist.
