Keratosis pilaris is a very common condition that is harmless; most management is around smoothing the feel of the skin for a personal preference rather than to treat/ cure the condition. For this reason, I’d recommend using moisturisers that contain salicylic acid or urea to smooth the skin as physical exfoliating may cause irritation and pigment change in children’s skin.
