Would you scald your lungs?
The Daily Mail reported yesterday that scalding lungs with a blast of steam may provide relief for symptoms of breathing disorders.
The procedure takes 30 minutes and is said to improve lung function and ease breathlessness. The steam is fired through a tube into the targeted lung tissue leaving the healthy tissue untouched. Scar tissue will then form over the tissue as it would if you had a wound.
