Smoke irritates the airways, making them swollen, narrow, and filled with sticky mucus — the same things that happen during an asthma flare-up. That's why smoking can cause asthma flare-ups (or "attacks") to happen more often. They also might be more severe and harder to control, even with medicine.LaurenCreed wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 12:21 pmIf you have asthma, just please quit smoking. It will do no good to your lungs. I have asthma, though I don't smoke, some family members do and it really triggers the attack when they smoke how much more if I do.

Smoking is bad news altogether. Whether someone has asthma or not.
I'd advise anyone not take up smoking. If they already smoke, I would certainly advise they quit the evil weed. The lungs just can't take it.
