The link I posted above about the use of helminthic therapy (HT) to treat asthma seems to have expired, so I'm adding some further links below.

Many asthma sufferers are turning to HT because it is so effective (it appears to work in around 80% of those who try it) and new reports are frequently posted by users on their blogs and to the Yahoo HT Forum, at:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/helminthictherapy/

The Yahoo forum has a Files section stocked with documents explaining various aspects of this therapy and is the go-to source for the best information on this subject.

Below are just a few examples of people's personal experience of using helminthic therapy to treat their asthma.

"To be able to just breath without thinking about it is fantastic. No more asthma!"
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/he ... ssage/1066

"By all measures my asthma and upper respiratory complaints are gone."
http://gettinghealthiernow.wordpress.co ... stability/

"My five year slide into asthma hell is over… the difference in my life is night and day."
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/he ... ssage/2515

"By week 13... there was significant improvement compared to my pre-hookworm condition."
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/he ... ssage/6216

“It’s now been a bit more than 6 months since my initial inoculation, and I'm now the proud mom to 85 hookworms and the results I have seen have been amazing! … I stopped taking one of my asthma medicines completely, and I only have had to use my rescue inhaler about once every 2 weeks or so. BW (before worms) I was taking my rescue inhaler at least once a day. I would have to refill it every month. I have the same one now that I refilled in June (3 months ago).”

And an update from the same blogger nearly 2 years later:
"For the larger part of my 30 years here on earth I’ve struggled to breathe every single day. I didn’t know any different. I puffed on my “rescue” inhaler a few times and went on with my day… I was guaranteed at least one ER visit a year for my asthma. To have two years go by without one was awesome… I realized just how much things have changed since I brought my little worm babies home two years ago… It's so great to be able to breathe!"

Hy guys, I'm Kate I'm 25. I'm having asthma for 3 years. I was so down when my doctor diagnosed asthma... I did not know what to do next... So I was a 'good' girl and taking the antibiotics, inhalers etc.
I tried to keep a diet (no alcohol, no diary) as well. I love dancing, but after 30 minutes I'm out of breath :( So annoying! I have a lovely friend (she has sinus problems), she recommend me the salt cave. I had 6 sessions so far and I feel much much more better already!! You just sitting in a room and relax and breath the salty air in. I still need my inhaler sometimes, but I did not take any antibiotics :) So happy about that! I think its really worth a try! http://www.saltcave.co.uk/
