Fusing

I was originally treated for VA and have had 2 operations for labial fusion. Recently given dermovate which seems to have stopped further fusing, although my vaginal opening is still small. My concern is it caused problems having a wee. Now got to cut down dermovate and use hydromol to stop skin sticking together. Will this work or is it likely that I'll fuse again?

Re: Fusing

I'm not sure if you have LS or not causing the fusion. Some post-menopausal women without LS can get some labial fusion. If you do have LS then using your dermovate regularly is really important. It should be combined with daily vaginal dilation using silicone dilators particularly if you're finding it hard to wee.
