Seeking advice for daughter

My daughter has had Covid twice and is fully vaccinated. She has an IUD for contraception and had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago. She has recently had several days of severe pain recently prior to and in between periods. The GP has advised it may a cyst that will pass with the period. She says he is not overly helpful. Both she and I are concerned - I’ve recommended she goes back to GP for a referral.

Do you have any further advice please? Many thanks (Liz)

Re: Seeking advice for daughter

Dear Liz,
I am sorry that your daughter is experiencing pain.
The causes of pain are so very varied without a full history or examination it is too difficult for me to give any advice on this case. What I would say is that if pain is continuing then please go back and see your GP.
