Heat Rash

How can you tell the difference between a heat rash and something else such as a meningitis rash or measles rash for example? Thanks (Natalie)

Re: Heat Rash

Heat rash can have many different meanings but usually implies a rash appearing in response to hot weather. Usually the sufferer is otherwise well complaining of slight itch only. The rash of meningitis is usually associated with a very sick individual who is lethargic, photophobic (light hursts their eyes) and has a headache and neck stiffness. Measles rash is again associated with an unwell individual with fever, stuffy nose and red eyes. If in doubt, seek help from a qualified individual.
