When I meditate I actually end up falling asleep! It is so relaxing, I just drop off.

To be serious, though, if billions of people around the world meditate, there must be value in it and it must work and have a purpose. There is also so much advice on how to mediate. But taking a personal approach is best: and doing what is right for YOU. You don't have to follow an exact science. Just mediate in your free-time and see how it goes. And it must work for me if I fall asleep. Also: you don't have to "push the thoughts out of your mind". This isn't possible. Just do what you feel when meditating.

Meditation is good, personally i do not do it. I do something like it. I pray and make sue everything is quiet and then just think and read the bible. I try to apply the bible to my life. This is how i meditate.
