Re: Does stress cause dementia?

The problem with dealing with stress is it doesn't go away: you can reduce it, but life will always be stressful: therefore reducing stress is not so easy. Having a holiday reduces stress for a short while, but when real life returns, it is there again.

I don't see how stress can be dealt with: say you owe someone £1000, you'd pay that person and the stress would be reduced into relief. But then you'd stress about losing £1000 from your bank account and the stress would be there again.

Stress can't be eradicated. You can go to therapy, but you can't take stress from your life.

This is why I get so annoyed when people say you need to reduce stress to stay sane: how on earth does someone get rid of stress from their life? It's impossible and useless advice.
