Cerebral Palsy Life Expectancy

Cerebral palsy is a condition occurs after some damages in the brain before, during and after the birth of an infant. It is a long-lasting non-progressive condition in which muscles become rigid and stress. The complete cure of cerebral palsy is not possible but management in the condition of CP is possible after some drugs, therapies and surgical treatment.

The life expectancy of cerebral palsy is between 30 and 70 years, depending on the severity of the condition. Sometimes the life expectancy of cerebral palsy is normal for those children or patients who are able to feed, stand, and walk themselves without the help of others. There are some therapies like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy. These therapies improve the lifestyle of cerebral palsy and make children independent to perform their task individually.

Trishla Foundation gives the best treatment to 10000+ children affected from cerebral palsy, orthopedic, limb deformity and other physical disability problems. Almost treatment at Trishla Foundation free for those families who are unable to afford the treatment and therapies of CP.
