Medication affecting mental health

A while ago my doc thought i had epilepsy and i was sent to a specialist. I was given pills that are used for epilepsy and migraines. Since taking them i feel really angry sometimes and feel like i want to be violent. Could this be the pills, the condition or just my mental health at the mo?

It could well be, but I'm certainly no authority whatsover on the subject. You could ask your Pharmacist (they know, and have access to a lot more information about drugs than your GP and maybe even a specialist does. what the known side effects of something are. Remember to also tell that person of any other prescription drugs yo are taking, as it might be that the other drug/s have a negative impact on your Epilesy medication. One way or another, get back to your specialist and take the isse up with them.

Psychiatrist give treatment to their patients by medicine and also by changing their surroundings. When You start to take the medicine for your improvement, it will of course affect your mental health, there is no doubt.

Epilepsy and migraines medicine has its effect and side effect as it actually works on improvement of CNS and Vasodilatation with help of beta receptors which actually makes person violent. But you must consult to your doctor and take proper precautions.

medicines can work differently in different people, so it may be your migraine pills have some side effects. You should consult with your doctor and ask to change the medicines.
