Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety and depression are two different entities, but anxiety may lead to depression, depending on its level. On the other hand, most depressed people suffer from anxiety disorders. Thus, one can trigger the other.

Re: Anxiety and Depression

Hi,
Anxiety disorders are often linked to depression. The incidence of developing depression in addition to an anxiety disorder is high.Almost half of all people with major depression also suffer from severe and persistent anxiety. It's important that both conditions are treated simultaneously.
Thanks!!

Re: Anxiety and Depression

People with depression move gradually, and their responses can seem firmed or dulled. People with anxiety tend to be more keyed up, as they fight to deal with their racing beliefs. Another distinctive feature is the existence of fear about the future in people with anxiety.............. Depressed people who do not have anxiety are less likely to be fraught with worry about future events, as they are often reconciled to believing that things will continue to be bad. In other words, they may predict the future based on how they feel in the moment................. :ugeek:

Re: Anxiety and Depression

Hi there, I agree with you that anxiety and depression are both different, but when anxiety increases it results in depression. Do you need to cure anxiety before it makes you depressed. You can prevent yourself from getting anxious by reading books, making friends and engage in doing the work you like.

Hi josephadams,

I totally agree with you. Both the terms anxiety and depression are different but when anxiety increases it leads to depression.

Thanks..
