Hi totally new to this but last week was prescribed Citalopram 20g by G.P and now am confused /scared as was not aware was depressed ( only went there for routine B.P. check !). Haven't got tablets yet as not sure how safe or what they are for - have read about them on line and now very reluctant to take them as some of the side affects sounds dangerous. How safe are they ???
